Rossendale have over the years worked on the principle that only the best is good enough. To that end we only use the best non-stick coating available, PFA.
Please find below examples of questions frequently asked together with their answers.
Question:
What is PFA 4000?
Answer: PFA 4000 is a multi coat non-stick system consisting of an adhesion promoting basecoat, together with a reinforced topcoat comprised of Dupont Fluoropolymer. This combination of coatings offers the best non-stick performance available and increased long-term durability.
Question: What advantages does PFA 4000 offer over traditional coatings such as silicone glaze
Answer:
1) It eliminates the need
for additional release agents - with the obvious cost and cleanliness implications.
2) It improves the appearance of the end product due to elimination of carbonised
oil residues.
3) It reduces downtime on line, as refurbishment is much less frequent.
4) It reduces the reject rate due to sticking, leading to increased productivity.
5) It is easily cleaned.
Question:
How long will PFA 4000 last?
Answer: We GUARANTEE a minimum of 4000 releases, however in certain applications figures of up to 6000 have been achieved.
Question: What substrates can be coated with PFA 4000?
Answer: Aluminium, aluminised steel (Alusteel), stainless steel and mild steel.
Question: What items can be coated with PFA 4000?
Answer: Flat trays, French Stick trays, perforated trays, bread pans, lids, etc.
